Bath Abbey, always a pleasure to visit it and the surrounding area. Lots of excellent places for a cuppa, some scones and gorgeous views. I’ve dropped a few pics from around the area rather than make a seperate post for them, you get the idea.
Gloucester Cathedral is a delight. It’s nestled in the town with access to cafes and other shops. It hosts a storied history. It’s quite amazing.

Dore Abbey was a delightful, off grid, pas by on the way back from Oxford one day. Was worth the effort. I have yet to try the excellent looking Cafe down the road.
Tewkesbury Abbey is a gem. It’s accesible, in a lovely area and has some wonderful viewpoints in and out.

Downside Abbey was another delightful, off grid, pass by on the way back from Oxford one day.
Buckfast Abbey was recommended to me by a work colleague. Was not the best day and there was a service on that “forced” me to get a cup of tea and a cake from the cafe. What a horror.. haha
