Dore Abbey was a delightful, off grid, pas by on the way back from Oxford one day. Was worth the effort. I have yet to try the excellent looking Cafe down the road.

Tewkesbury Abbey is a gem. It’s accesible, in a lovely area and has some wonderful viewpoints in and out.

Buckfast Abbey was recommended to me by a work colleague. Was not the best day and there was a service on that “forced” me to get a cup of tea and a cake from the cafe. What a horror.. haha
